Recently I had several people ask me about "Credit Score", what affects it and why is it important.
"What Affects it": Your credit score is a number that indicates your "financial health" at a specific point of time. It is based and affected by your past activites like; how consistently you pay off your bills-payment history, amounts owed, lenght of credit history, types of credit used.
"Why is it Important": Credit Score is important because mortgage professionals used it to qualify you for a mortgage.
There are several websites that a person can check and track their own credit score.
Before deciding on buying your dream home, speak to your bank or a mortgage agent to find out your budget. |
